Yes, the Invida tips fill the gap up much more and will look so much better. That's why I did it for now.

Thanks. Any mechanic stuff I stick to doing myself or going to Infiniti. However, for body work, I trust Custom Auto Body 100% with my FX. They've done everything... talk to Rocky, he works with me directly.

I have an idea for you. You should get another set of headlights and keep the lens clear. Paint the shroud gloss black and paint the chrome projector rings in white. This setup would look sick on your car.

Did I tell you/somebody that I am doing this? TELEPATHY! I'm literally doing exactly what you said, and the headlights are just sitting in my dining room waiting to be opened. My paint guy said he'd do all of the paint work once they're open (along with clear coating the front of the lens so they stay nice. I will also be adding the TSX lens and hopefully a set of the angel eyes, along with a 6000K headlight/fog light setup

I'm also planning on getting another set of sport taillights to open up, paint black, and add white ring around the reverse light.
