FX4BR

Looking good Brennan, nice to see you back and the FX looking awesome again.

What happened with your tails? I remember they got damaged at one point...

Thanks everybody. I'm really pleased with the results. The front of the FX is officially complete. I still have some more mods coming at some point around the rest of the exterior. Nothing huge.

One of the taillights was vandalized, and I actually just took them out yesterday because I'm going to get them fixed and back on the FX. Now that the headlights have the ivory pearl accents, I have the taillights with ivory pearl accents back on the car.

Hey guys. Sad to say that I traded in my 2006 FX35 Sport last week. That car was great to me, and I loved every minute of it. I had so much fun customizing it and driving it everywhere. I thought about parting out, but it would have taken time that I just don't have, so I traded it in as is. I was looking to make the trade within the next year, but within the first 15min of my search on Auto Trader, I found what I wanted.

I bought a 2012 FX35 AWD with 47,000 miles in Moonlight White with Java interior. It has the Premium Package, mud flaps, and cross bars from factory. So far, I have bought a custom-fit Cover Craft UVS100 sunscreen (I have had this in all of my cars), brown all-weather OEM floor mats, and the full aero kit from Infiniti of Troy. I plan to paint the black trim on the aero kit to Moonlight White as well as all of the lower black trim on the FX. Found some pics online with this done, and I like it. I'll also remove the FX35 emblem, and I have an appointment this week to have the front side windows tinted to match the back side windows, and the windshield lightly tinted. I told myself I wouldn't go as crazy with the mods on this one, but who knows what will happen. I get the itch, and sometimes I just can't help myself. The wheels are going to be a project, because I do not like them. Way too small, and not unique-looking. I am considering 22" or 24" but I'm not finding anything I like. I am keeping all of the chrome on the FX because it looks nice, so I might want chrome on the wheels. I dunno.

Congrats Brennan. Your 1st gen was a beautiful ride and I'm sure your 2nd Gen will be at least as nice with your touch.
Covercraft covers rock, I have had them on my last 4 Infiniti's.

Congrats on your 2nd gen fx purchase. I sometimes miss my 1st gen fx but then when I see the difference between the 1st and 2nd gen I don't feel that bad anymore lol.
