Hey guys, I know this is a old thread, but I didnt want to start a new one because my question is related to the conversion.
But I dont know how to do the wiring. Im getting ready to order all the needed parts, but I have no ideal on how to wire it up.
I also looked at the forums at the ORG and it also does not explain how to wire it up. Im pretty sure its fairly simple, but I dont know where the a/c clutch cycle wire is at, when it say connect to a fused 12v I dont know how many amp fuse to use, chedman13 said he used a glass fuse and on the ORG it looked like a forum member used a fuse box with I dont know what type a fuse. On the ORG one of the pics showed a wire going to a fuse on the factory fuse box but it didnt say what fuse was that or what that wire was. What wire did you guys used to get the 12v with key on? ON chedman13 and logan I see in the pic you two cut off the clip that comes with the fan and its tapped into another set of wires, but I dont know what set of wires are they, the relay? Does it matter which fan gets the 70amp relay and which one gets the 30amp? When I get the dual fan assembly, which fan is the high and which one is the low? Where did you guy ground the wires at?
Im sorry but wires is not my strong suit, I can hook up a deck because all the wires I need to connect is right in front of me on one harness. If anyone can help with the wiring process it will be greatly appreciated. Might as well ask what size drill bit did you guy use to dill out the hole for the temp sensor while im at it, so i can get it right the first time. I need to change out my original fan because there are cracks on it and might as well do this conversion.
Also Logan did you get the Action Crash Radiator Fan Assembly; Platinum Part Number: 17911-04011213 or the APDI Radiator Fan Assembly Part Number: 17911-05339896 from parts geek? I know I read that you dont remember, but hopefully seeing the names might jog your memory.
I will be using Dakota Digital PAC-2750. Pretty much just looks like a new model of the 2700. thanks again
