I found a solution to your bass problem and any lack of bass on the FX in general. There was an old thread that just resurfaced about boosting the subwoofer output. I played around with it and assembled all of the details into an FX specific How-To. I installed this on my FX and it actually sounds like there are aftermarket subs in the trunk now.

So, I updated the Firmware on the MediaBridge and now the FX does not pick it up anymore when i press the SAT button. I submitted a ticket to DICE. I'm eager to what they are going to say. Might have to unplug it from behind the radio and replug it.

Ha, it's like a Windows update -- you update and something always breaks.

Sucks, hope it gets fixed soon.
 
Wow, Chris your car sure is the most UNIQUE one. Anything goes into it takes extra work. Well, I'm glad when I did the firmware update, it when in without a hitch.
 
This is really some good work on your part...I will wait for your instructional manual...lol...I have a 2004 Infiniti with the Navigation System...etc...Also, I was wondering has anyone figured out how to upgrade the tire pressure screen so the enduser knows which tire is low or going on a flat...The 2004 fx35 model doesn't tell you which tire is that is experiencing a leak etc....
 
Sorry to revive an old thread but I have a question on this product and thought this would be great place to ask. If I'm listening to the factory radio with MB installed will it kick over to the phone automatically? also on my 2004 w/tech package I couldn't find a "CAT" button but I do have sat button and when pressed it says no sat on the screen is this device still compatible

Ok great I'm trying to get all my facts straight before plunking down so change with the holidays here everyone is asking for pricey items :/ one more question will I be able to use it along with the navigation at the same time?

Yes, FX45Chicago & Chedman13 have MB on their with OEM Nav without any problem.
 
Just sold my spare ps3 (who needs 3 right?) to buy since the wife is not happy I spend money on toys even though I "try" to tell her it's for safety since she is a animated cell phone talker I check amazon doors any one know a place to find it cheaper? Also I
Thinking of adding a Verizon hotspot to the car And having a integrated iPod touch to handle Netflix and video playback or do you think a carpc would be a better option
