Bubbling Dash Warranty Extension (96 months / Unlimited miles)

I have a 2007 FX35 with 105k miles & my dash just began bubbling pretty badly. I happen to take my car in for battery replacement & mentioned the bubbling dash & they ordered one free of charge :-) Infiniti of Chantilly keeps me happy
 
Newbie here. Glad to see this thread. I was aware of the bubbling issue by reading various forums but hadn't seen any problems on my 07 FX35 with 60K miles. That was sort of reassuring since the vehicle was originally a Florida vehicle and I assumed it would have been aggravated by the heat there.

Now just this week, I am starting to notice bubbling on the dash, so far just up around the windshield area. Will keep a close eye on the situation.
 
I noticed some small bubbles forming today. They are on the portion of the dash that wraps around the speakers as well as on the portion that goes down around the stereo and a/c vents. Is it still one piece or will they replace both sections? What do you mean mismatch?
 
i cant believe that you guys still replacing the dashbaord !!! mine 2006 in Middle East and they refused to replace it. They told me the warranty is expired!! Its only 72 months!! I showed them the 96 months warranty letter but they said this is for US customers only :disapointed:

its factory defect !! how come warranty period is diff from country to another !!!?

Has anyone on here (from the USA) not been able to have their dash replaced not from expiration of time frame but rather because the dealer claim they could not see the bubbles? Reason for me asking is I can see a handful of bubbles under the sun on my dash but if the car is indoors u cant see it. Thanks
 
I bought my FX used 2 years ago and the previous owner said that she had replaced the dash although I didn't check how long ago it was done. When did they go to this new material cause my dash looks just as black as the rest of my interior and I have bubbles popping up again. I know it's suppose to be a one time replacement for free deal but does anyone know if they will replace the dash again if it was replaced before but the new dash material wasn't used and therefore it's bubbling again?
 
It's possible your dash was replaced before the bulletin/fix was ever conceived, so you probably had an old dash design put in. Definitely go to the dealer and ask again you probably have a few months left.
 
Infiniti started off just replacing the dash with the original dash...eventually they moved to a different material all together. You should be able to get it replaced again at no cost. This time they will undoubtably use the new stuff.
 
Dashboard Bubbling at 65k. Now what?

Ok, so this past summer has been a hot one and my dashboard started to do this weird bubbling thing(tiny bubbles randomly on the dash, mostly above the entertainment console) Is this a defect and can I get this taken care of by the manufacturer?

Went to the dealer at 1:30. Dash was ordered by 1:45 and it will be installed on Friday with a loaner car to boot!!

My 04 had the dash replaced about three years ago, it's now bubbing again but I've owned since new and more than 96 months (@ 99). Has anyone had a second dash installed though past the 96 month window (the dash is only 36 months or so)?
