If the top part of the dash is melting, it's probably not the revised version. The replacement dash I have doesn't get soft at all while the original part still will if I leave the car outside in summer.
The same thing happened to me they told me I was one month late and when I try to call infinity customer service they told me that I never bring my car in for service check so they won't help meUpdate for those wondering how the case is going. Nissan was able to get me kicked off the case for not being the original owner.

I went to buy a new Infiniti on 12-22 or 12-23-12. Asked the dealer about my current FX35 having herpes. They looked at it and told me bring it back anytime it will be fixed under warranty. Called mid January and they said sorry the warranty ended 1-4-13. They said call infiniti home office they may make exception, after 1 minute on the phone they said no. Got mad posted on Twitter and infiniti called me and again and said no. After googling I found Ben Mook and his class action lawsuit page against Infiniti. Sent an email and few days later he called, got my info and asked if I would like to give testimony. Was flown out to Missouri for the case. If you google infiniti bubble dash and look at the Kansas star result that's my dashboard. So Ben Mook and his team won that case and went forward with the Texas/Cali suit. I gave my deposition in August for 6 hours or so. They were trying to blame my herped dashboard on using cleaning products or saying I didn't take care of my car cause my services records showed I denied the dealer putting wiper blades on when they recommend.
The judge ruled in December that because I didn't buy my car from Infiniti they are not responsible for the dash issue. Which we all know is bull shit.
So the case goes forward with out me. If Ben Mook and his team win the Cali case. Then they move to the next state and so on. They lost 2 million in MO plus legal fees Cali/Texas case is going to be much more.
There is some hope that Infiniti will get tired of all the cases and extend the nation wide recall again. That is currently the only chance I have at getting my case of FX herpes fixed.
Until then I will keep bugging Infiniti with #fxherpes and posting on their twitter. I even enter my car in local cars shows with notes on it of how Infiniti treats their customers. Its sad I really like the car just hate the dash.

Years? in the USA we do Month-Day-Year. It was from 12-22 or 23rd to 1-15 thats 23-24 days with the dealer being closed 9 of them. Their anytime was 13-14 days with the dealer being closed 5 of them. Also during that time I had a baby in the NICU and a wife in ICU.
As far as Infiniti knowing where to send it. Infiniti did a pre sale inspection for me so they had my info. They did all the service for the original owner so they knew were he was. Why they sent it to some random address that was not me or the original owner we have no clue and during the deposition they could not tell me how they got the address.
