2009 Trek Fuel EX8, the Full Floater shock and Active Braking Pivot technologies on this bike make it handle amazingly.

Schwinn Rocket 88 Disc (the last year of the authentic Schwinn)
Gary Fisher Kai Tai single speed
Giant TCR2 Road Bike
Chrome Beach Cruiser

I'm pretty bummed I'm going to miss this XC racing season with my broken foot, leg and hip :frown:

Nice rigs everyone. Anyone have a hitch mounted rack that can actually fold when not in use on their FX with OEM hitch? My SportWorks can't fold unless I add a hitch extension and that places the bikes way far out back.

Any recommendations?

Check out Thule. That is what I have on my Volvo and I love it. Brands like Thule and Yakima usually make them so they will fold and will clear your vehicle.

Thanks, but Thule bought out Sportworks and the Thule T2 is the same rack. So it'll be the same:sad:

Well let me contribute some more...

For those non-peddle days...

My main ride: 2002 Specialized Stumpjumper M4 Comp hardtail. The frame is the only original thing left on the bike, the parts have been swapped at least 5 times over the years.

My backup ride for the really rough stuff: 2002 Specialized Stumpjumper FSRxc Disc.

And last but not least, the reason the FSR above is stripped of a lot of its parts is because I'm in the process of building up a 2005 Specialized P.3 dirt jumper frame. I raced BMX as a kid so I like to have a smaller bike I can toss around and hit the jumps with if I'm feeling saucy.

I had the same problem, I like to be real stretched out, but have a short inseam so any bike that would otherwise fit me well was very cramped in that area of reach. that's one of the reasons why I went with a custom frame, short stand over height with a larger top tube length... I didn't want a long stem to have a better steering geometry & response

I will post pics later on. sorry for no pics.

But I have a Specialized Tricross Expert double 54cm; 700x32C......She's my other baby aside from my FX!

It's late but...
Yep I have the same problem. I rode a friends 29er and I'm sold. Just found out that the ETTs on some of the more affordable models have a long ETT and shorter standovers (Niner, GT, On One, etc).

Did a repaint from the original red, white, and gold....sorry for the substandard pictures.

tmerigold That is one awesome paint scheme. I checked out your site and I have to say the coexit T-shirt and cycling jersey is very cool. Including Moo into the designs pretty touching, I would rock one of your designs!

Panzer74 I like the way you set up the gravity stand for the bike and kayak! The Rize is supposed to be awesome, expecially since you don't have the lefty (although I like leftys, but my weight prevents me from riding one without a stiff spring in it).
