Just finished putting on my new forks. I'll have to wait a bit until the weather shapes up to try them out. Notice the GTSpec in the back ground...

I used to ride (mountain bike) religiously every day after work when I was younger. My favorite thing was saturdays when a whole bunch of us would get together carpool up a mountain and ride down about 3 hours. I had the crappiest bike of everyone their but yet I was always second up front. It's been so long I can't even remember the generic brand bike I had or any of the parts except for the triple clamp rst forks that were worth way more than the rest of the bike put together. The bike did fit me well though, like a glove i'd say. The friend who I could never pass use to race and he was a freakin' machine! I'll have to post up some pics for some good laughs.

I finally got to go mountain biking again in Aspen. It took me a bit to get comfortable again. I got screwed out of any real mountain biking, but I did bike up a muddy road for a few minutes and ride down, as well bike along some hiking trails that were muddy and very technical. The rental was subpar, as I have now learned is usually the case. It would randomly lock up, and wouldn't hold a gear, which meant under hard pedaling I would slip off the pedals.
That reminds me, it sounds like we are going to the Broadmoor again this year. Might try and do some biking there, and if you want to meet up, or know any good places.
