Another Blown Eibach Spring

Pat is now the official H&R tester. I feel like he has the most likely ones to fail. Although I cleaned them up good and clear coated any places where the paint had been chipped before sending them to him.

Looks like another Eibach snapped.. Happened a second time to this guy..
Here's his post on the org:

TommyGuns:
" Hi folks, Been a while, I gave the FX to my wife and I purchased myself a 370 Z. So it looks like I'm in the same boat. This is also my second time, the first time was the rear and this time it's the front passenger. Had brakes done this morning and on the way home my wife said that there was a loud bang and what already has been described as all sorts of noises, grinding and smoke. Worst part is that the spring gouged my brand new front tire (smoke from rubber burning). I will be calling Eibach on Monday, but this time I'm not going to eat the cost of the labor and I will be getting the cost of a tire. Just got off of the phone with my lawyer and he feels that they should be very accommodating otherwise they will be hearing from him. The first time this happened they were quick to get me my replacement springs, let’s see how this goes."

To me, that's one HUGE coincidence to happen twice on the same car.. I think this is the second guy to have it happen to him twice..

Didn't read through the whole thread, but wanted to add that Marek's FX45 with Eibach's his front passenger side snapped.

He was lucky, he walked out and saw a piece laying in his drive way and was wondering what it was... it was a part of the Eibach spring...

He now is running H&R's to say the least. Well, to be accurate, H&R's front and Eibach rears since he hasn't had time to work on the rears.

Good thing i went on h&r's. It would kinda be scarey driving around on eibach springs that could break. I could only imagine what could happen if your on a freeway doing 60mph then snap. =\
