Annual Midwest Spring/Fall Area Meet in Chicago

Guys & Gals,

I'm too jealous of other regional meets. Weather is nice and we all seems to agreed that we should have organize a meet out at a one of the many Forest Preserves. It can be a BBQ/Picnic. So I'm gonna throw out two dates and a general somewhat central to all of us

Location: Where in the Oakbrook area
Dates: 05/15 or 05/22

So let hear it!!!!!


I cast mine to start: 05/15 BBQ.

Again if people wana organize a couple before?even if its just a few of us. Any reason to meet up sounds good.
 
Any day is good with me. Sundays are definitely the best days. My brother lives in Oak Brook, I should ask him to use his house and bbq, lol. My bro would totally be cool with it too. If not, I know a lot of good places around the area. What do you guys think?
 
Im in for crashing your brothers house! Any house in Oak Brook sounds good to me for a BBQ! haha If not we could go to like a forest preserve or something too like mentioned before.

You see, that what I'm afraid of :rofl:. I was going suggest my place so we can have some install works too. Well I'm way too far out West for most of you guys. Seriously, I think if Aero's brother and his neighbors are cool about it, I think his brother's place is preferred. Come on guys, we FX guys are much more civilized than just party and leave, right?

Id be willing to go anywhere! any reason for a cruise in the FX in some nice weather sounds good to me. Just depends on where everyone else is located!

Again ... Could always do the one in Oak Brook (or wherever we go) and then your place after people talk and maybe a smaller group woulda want to meet at your place for some install work too? I dont have ANY mods and i would LOVE to get some help and try and get more into my FX.

Since my car will likely not have wheels, how about I try on everyone else's. :wink (2):
 
Okay, lets do it at la_fx's house then, lol. It would be fun to have to installing/modding going on at same time. Plus, there's plenty of room to park our FXs in his cul-de-sac too. Good thing I will have my wheels on by then. This wednesday is the target date for install. :smile (2):

I might sell my wheels/tire/tmps as a set if you're interested, you can check them out at the meet.

Can you tell I get bored of wheels quickly? I've had way too many sets of wheels=) But I'm down to two now.

Wow, someone in Chicago needs to get these. Definitely a wider wheel and tire for your next set. No lip though, really? I have to have a medium lip for me. Maybe after you see my set at the next meet, you might have new options to think of. :wink:

Well if the Mrs. will let you have some friends over keep us posted! otherwise we should try and get some backup spots going.
