2nd Gen LED mirror covers installed from Marek @ Extreme Designz

Answer is below... Pretty detailed right there.. If you can't follow this, then I suggest you get a shop to do it..

Wow tough crowd. I just ment like some of the DIY stuff on here it has instructions with photos. For example how does the cover attach to mirrors, any tricks to removing door panels and little things like that.

Didn't mean it that way, sorry if you took it as harsh... Simply put, if you're not comfortable tackling the project with the provided instructions, perhaps you should let pros do it.. In hindsight, I regret not taking pics of the process, but was in too much of a rush to take detailed pics.. Everything is attached with clips, except the 3 or 4 screws on the door. If you have a trim removal tool it's pretty straight forward... Good luck!

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I find no need to make another pointless thread when it involves the same topic lol.

Anyways if you have the around view monitor you can't have these right? Since the side view cameras are mounted in the bottom of the Oem mirrors.

Yea, you still can have the LED Signal covers with around camera. It's replace the top cover. No affect on the camera portion of the mirror.

How was it to install these? About to order a pair tonight but not from Marus lol not after what happened with the rear LED reflectors. I'm getting them from fleebay

Where can I buy these from? Only eBay?

Guys need your opinion on something. I'm ordering the mirror covers and they come unpainted. So this gives me two options:

1. Get it painted at a local bodyshop Price $60 for both in KH3 black obsidian

2. Get it done in real carbon fiber. Not the fake vinyl stuff. The real thing which is $100. The would look similar to this:

I think the real CF mirrors would go nice with the black on my fx. What do you guys think? If I do these in real cf I'm doing a few other trim pieces in cf too.
