2003 - 2008 FX Lighting Specs (Bulbs)

Thanks Dr.2k for this write up!

I used it to replace all interior bulbs to LEDs! Maybe just add that there's a light bulb in the glove box? I just finished and realized that I wasn't finished lol

I had DDM tuning 6k bulbs in my 350z for over a year before I sold it. Never had any issues. I live 10 minutes from their storefront so I might just try their kit out and report my findings. Thanks!

The high beams AND low beams are both D2S? Is the norm to get matching low/high beam lights or do you wanna go with like 6k lows and 8k highs?

Ok so I got 6k replacement headlights and now i'm looking for dtrls and license plate lights. The diagram shows the 7440 and the 7443. Which should I get? Are the they different because of the US/Canadian versions? Same with the license plate lights...I've got an 05 US version so which is right?

They are 7440. I just ordered LED replacements for the DTRL and Turn signals from VLEDs. I got some of the brightest you can buy of both so that they match my Angel Eyes from Umnitza. The turn signals were $29.99 the DTRLs were 49.99. I also just ordered a custom pair of plate LEDs from sprtfx.

with the 9006 3k hid kit for the fogs, you just wire them in and that's it? Other than obviously mounting the balasts, it's that easy?

Yep, direct plug and play. Many of us have been running the 9006 fog HID kit with stock wiring without any issues. Some preferred to use new wire kit from Morrimoto.

Put in the 194s and they work great. Can't get the 7440s to work though. I tried rotating them and pulling the leads out a little and still nothing. Any ideas?

You will need to flip the pins. Take a look inside the socket for the bulbs to see how connectors are oriented then flip the pins on your bulb accordingly

I did notice that they don't match up...the leads seem really fragile, they won't break if I hyperextended them like that?

EDIT: I reversed the leads and they illuminated as I was plugging them in but wouldn't stay on while fully seated in the bulb housing. After a couple attempts I realized my headlights weren't turning on. Put the original 7443 bulb back in and now my license plate lights won't illuminate and my tail lights only illuminate when I'm pressing the brakes...what now?
