What kind of battery are you running?

My battery is giving me a weak start in the cold so I think its about that time I replace it. I was looking for the best battery I could get at the best price and believe it or not I found a Costco battery at the top of the list on a few sites over Die Hard, Duramax, Optimas and some others. Anybody had any exprerience with these?

I have had the optima batteries in previous rides and they are bad ass. When my battery goes on the fx I'm def getting an optima

I'm not sure if it was listed online. I got it 2 years ago. I know you had to get a certain one because our poles are flipped I think.

How long ago did you buy it? I looked online and can't find any available.

alittle info i found on the interenet

[h=2]A little Background on the Kirkland Brand Car Batteries[/h] The Kirkland Signature Car Batteries are manufactured by Johnson Controls. Johnson Controls also manufacturers what is probably the best brand battery you can buy for your car (And also available at most Costco’s) the Optima® brand of batteries. They make the LTH and Heliar brands for South American Markets. Johnson Controls also
makes the Duralast/DL-Gold batteries at Autozone. I am currently running a 7 year old Kirkland Battery in one of my cars and its still going strong. My other car has a Kirkland Battery that is now 4 years old and no problems. I accidently left the dome light on in the car with the 4 year old battery draining it completely down. I put it on the charger and got it back to a full charged state. And it’s been about a month now and no issues.

I decided on the DieHard Platinum series battery. It's pricey but no complaints here yet and it has a 4 year warranty. (I think Optima is 3 but may be wrong). Great cranking power as well.

Johnson Controls is a HUGE operation and the single largest manufacturer of automotive batteries which are sold under several brands. Just because they own Kirkland and Optima does not make those two batteries in any way similar.

A similar argument would be: "The Murano is made by Nissan in Japan. Nissan also makes GT-Rs in Japan. My Murano is fast as hell."

im just saying that the piece of mind is there. if the optima is out of your price range, the Kirkland is there and available.
