Most of the time I give them plenty of room and try to stay away from the idiots. You know give em enough rope to hang themselves.
But on a few occasions I just couldn't help myself. I have been driving the mountain roads up here for over 35 years and know every corner and exactly how fast I can take them. We have what I call freeway flyers that have no clue how to drive on twisting turning mountain roads they ride the brakes on every corner and speed on every straightaway never using any turnouts.
I was on my way down the mountain one day and came up on a car that was slowing to 15mph on every corner the speed limit was 55mph.This A Hole would speed up to 70 at every passing lane and slam the brakes at every corner and of course he would not use any of the turnouts.
This is when the awesome power of the FX came in handy I flew past him at one of the passing lanes and then slowed to the speed limit 55. This A Hole then got right on my bumper and continued tailgating me with his brights on(this was at night).
So I went just fast enough where he could just keep up in the corners
I knew we were coming up on a sharp corner so I accelerated and flew through the corner. I watched in my rear view as he sped up to stay on my ass and I watched him slam into the mountainside behind me.:vader:
hahaha, Epic Fail:rotfl:only thing I remember was seeing in my rear view corvette tailights, then headlights, then tailights again as he wrecked ....
Coincidentally, I had a Civic SI acting bad ass a couple weeks ago.. I too, was traveling the same route as him. So when we came to an double lane intersection on a highway, I let him have what my FX had to offer. This was at 2AM...no cars on the road (in case you start calling me careless). However, the difference between your story and mine is that he started following me. I even hit four ramp loops going in circles (just to make sure he was following me and not just going the same way). I keep a pellet rifle in my car - just for the heck of it. At this point, I had my buddy take it out and go up the moonroof with it. That guy shit his balls...pulled the e-brake and started to reverse. Moral of the story...something legal, yet scary looking will keep those guys away. Ya you can't protect with an airsoft/pellet gun, but those things work more psychologically than physically.
...so now all that mischief stories are out.
Sharing mine:
I was on a red light when a charger stopped next to me. The driver started revving his engine and gave me a wink. I revved mine and then off we go. He did not know that I slowed down a few minutes ago respecting a cruiser that came from right behind me. When we were about to reach the next intersection, I dropped speed and sure enough, he was gone. Only later on I saw him being stopped by the same cruiser I saw earlier. I lowered my window and gave him a wave of my hand.
