Got into another accident today :'-(

Picking the FX tomorrow afternoon after work. I stopped by to see it yesterday and its completely finished. Took a little bit longer to get cause of waiting on the parts to come from Infiniti and the paint ceramic clear coat had to be special ordered from PPG.

Both doors and rear quarter panel were repainted. They also took the glass out from the rear quarter panel to insure paint meets the edges. From what I've seen no half assing like other body shops.


When picking it up tomorrow I'll make sure it passes the Aaron inspection :wink:

With the amount they charge, your FX will look perfect Aaron... Then again your eye is more keen than mine ;-) Happy for you bud.

Just picked it up half an hour ago. It's dark out so I can't really get any pictures but I will have some in the morning.


Oh man I missed my baby :(!!!! The finish came out flawless trust me I looked over everything. I'm actually flabbergasted that I couldn't find one little flaw. The finish actually looks better than the manufacturers finish LOL.

By the way I got my hands on some nice fx50 rims that are already painted. There was a shop I saw on the way home and they had an fx50s that had been totaled and the rims were in perfect condition. Not saying the price for them but I'm going to stop by tomorrow and pick them up.
 
Good to hear you're happy with the workmanship and are back in your ride !!! We know it was an agonizing few weeks !?
