What went wrong with your FX today?

Horn didn't work, replaced clock spring, airbag light came on, took to dealership, they couldn't reset it, replaced clock spring again to be sure, airbag light still blinking. Airbag was fine before all this. Getting long and 2 blinks for soccer airbag. Have flipped from user mode to diagnostic mode enough times to write a song with all the clicks and pops. Can't seem to rest it. Stumped

That happened to mine a couple of months ago. It was the electromagnetic coupler in the transfer case. Unplug the plug the case and check continuity on the pins (on the case not the plug going to the case). You should have continuity. I found a used case with $12k miles on it for $100. Seemed to be a better option than replacing the electromagnetic coupler ($1200) , having to pull and break down the case, repair, then put it back together.

Mine also fell off. Tried an eBay Chinese emblem but it did not fit and was warped. Will check with dealer tomorrow as I have a scheduled visit.
 
Key fob battery had been getting low, per the green flashing symbol every now and then. Finally died Monday. I didn't worry since I knew I had a spare battery in the glovebox since they come in 2 packs. So I swapped it at work. Sliced my finger open since I was using my pocket knife. After work, it still didn't work. I realized that battery had been sitting there for awhile, and probably all the cold winters killed it as well. So I bought another 2 pack last night, and now it works just fine. I guess I'll be keeping this spare battery somewhere else, but I know I'll lose it.
 
Those Magnaflows look OEM so they shouldn't be louder. HFCs are louder because all of those heat shields are gone and they use thinner gauge pipes vs. the heavy OEM.

FWIW, $250 for used OEM cats with 46k is high. He probably bought aftermarket HFCs for like $350 and is looking to recoup his cost. I've seen them go for half that. And 46K isn't that low if he ever had any engine issues like misfires or such, it may have damaged the cats. Look on my350Z.com in the classifieds if you want to go down the used OEM route. You can use anything from 03-06Z or 03-07G.

is it that hard to replace without taking a trip to the stealership?
 
How the hell did that happen. This is a first for me seeing this. I think you have to pull the door panel off the change the handle.

I just simply pulled the handle and It came with me lol I was like WTF ! Once I reached inside to oped the door I heard something fall inside the door once I opened it :bulgy-eyes:
