Osram CBI 5000K D2S HID Bulbs (The next big thing?)

I'm not a fan of 6k. I like 5k, so I guess another reason for me to get 3five :)

What are the price differences between 3five and DDM? Is there an even better version or can I get these but have LED bright lights or something even brighter so that the fogs can try to keep up with the osram when I get them?
 
I agree with Jmess, I don't know why everyone has issues with DDM. They look and perform awesome and I see nothing washed out. I haven't had any problems in 4 vehicles so far

^ Just like anything else...not that it's a problem, just typically one product is rated better over another overall. And I think it's hard to tell unless you have used both products.

DDM kits are cheap, I got one as a temporary fix for the ugly yellow fogs. The bulbs are pretty crappy in those but what do you expect for the price they sell them for.
What I REALLY want is a projector fog lights, still looking into that. I had nothing but problems with MM bulbs, maybe it was just bad luck. I am definitely getting the Osram bulbs and the projector based HID fogs eventually.

I got a lit of parts from TRS (TheretroFitSource) that are required to make this but I have to figure out the measurments if they will actually fit properly into the fog housing. When I get some time I'll work on it

Keep us posted about projector fogs, I been wanting to do this as well
 
Got me thinking now of buying these bulbs and the 3five kit. Hmm does anyone have a detailed video with the 5k setup of both ? Also are they really worth the extra money ?

Look at the pics from the HIDPLANET link on the 1st page of this thread, the bulb output really looks amazing compared to stock, I got 6K Philips bulbs, they look great but the light output is diminished compared even to stock bulbs, these Osram bulbs look 30-50% brighter than stock to me...
 
Just like Jmess requested, I would love to see a video of the osrams or with both the osrams and the 3five kit? Can anybody post a video please :)
 
I'll try to make a video as well ....but my fogs are 3000k not 5000k

Aaron, weren't you the one having front sensor issues or something with the HID fogs?
