I've become a fan of Nex Shipping. You sihn up with an account and then get all the benefits of FedEx/UPS shipping at a discount. I'd estimate domestic shipping at 10% lower and international as much as 40% lower. It's the most convenient method I've found and can't beat the prices either. No worries on the reliability because it is sourced to FedEx or UPS anyways. There are still some circumstances that I'll ship USPS, FedEx, or UPS, but only for specific reasons.
 
Anyone ever have a really bad headache / migraine at night and try and follow your FX home? Damn those brake lights are too bright! I had to close my eyes everytime we got to a stoplight...they're like red lasers piercing my eyeballs and frying my brain

Yeah, driving behind a fx at night can be no fun if you are sensitive to bright lights. :p

My tails are tinted, so it shouldn't be LED bright anymore lol

I have the sport tails, but I had a huge headache. The tails just bugged the heck out of me last night. I like driving behind my wife so no one tailgates her or acts stupid.

Ah, you don't wear sunglasses at night? :laugh: Yeah, I totally agree the FX taillights are pretty bright! You don't follow her home very often I hope; otherwise, may want to lightly tint them at a shop will help.
 
When accelerating hard from a dead stop...
..and when I say hard, I mean foot ALL THE WAY DOWN on the pedal.

Anyway, when I do that I hear a grinding noise.. like it's coming from the front like the engine/tranny
The sound is like a wrench dragging across a concrete floor.
I've done it twice since summer started and both times
I felt the grinding/vibrations from under the foot pedals area.

I doubt this is normal, so does anyone know what could be the problem?

I had a similar sound/feeling when my exhaust was rubbing on the driveline under load. Could be a broken exhaust or motor mount.

My friend mentioned that it could be an engine mount, as well.
I thought it was the exhaust because when accelerating at times, I can hear slight hissing at 2-2.5K rpm, wasn't sure if that's what the stock exhaust does

You probably wouldn't hear hissing from a leaking exhaust, it would just be louder and/or raspy under load. You might hear hissing from a leaky radiator cap, but you'd also probably see steam and increased coolant temps. Its tough because vibrations from under the car can really sound like anything...

I'd get it up on some stands/ramps and check for broken exhaust mounts or a loose heat shield near the driveline. That would be the easiest diagnosis.

Have you had any work done down there recently?

None at all.
The latest thing I've done was an add-on to the radio.
