The Random Question Thread

I saw the comparison pics and it just hit me that the prerecall lenses are clear in the first place (a 9 out of 10 on the "clearness" scale) and one doesn't need to replace them unless they want a 10. The post recall lenses are significantly cloudy (like mine) and NEED to be replaced if you want a better output/cutoff. So to sum it up, visibly cloudy = TSXR swap needed. If you can't tell wether they're cloudy or clear, its likely they're clear prerecall lenses and can be swapped to FXR to get even clearer. Right?

Ok, so are the "clearness" of the lens are in this order?
Post re-call lens > TSXR lens > Pre-recall lens > FX-R lens

Left being the cloudiest
Right being the clearest.

I think it's, post recall, prerecall, TSXR/FXR. But the TSXR will not fit prerecall same with FXR not fitting postrecall

Ahhhh, that's where I was confused. So basically the post-recall and pre-recall have different lens housings?

Pretty sure it's sealed, I do have a set of fog lights if you want to buy, but they can be found on eBay I think. Pm is so, been meaning to post them.

When I mean sealed, probably have to put in oven for glue then take apart.

Just buy the TSX-R lens and you will have the BEST lens available for our car. Forget about all the "Pre/Post" lens!

I thought there was some grooves that were different in pre and post recall

I've been thinking of getting the lightwieght racing pulley set but dont know if its worth the time, money, and effort. Does anyone know the pros and cons for this? Is it worth the money?

I weighed my UR "lightweight" pulleys (excluding the crank pulley) and found no difference between them and the OEM units to the nearest tenth of a pound. The install is a piece of cake so I'd say the visual appeal is worth the effort, but not sure if I'd say they were worth the price. It is possible that the weight distribution within each pulley is different/better with the "lightweight" parts but that is purely speculative on my part. I don't believe them to have any performance benefit. (Again, excluding the crank pulley...)

I have a random question:
