thats tough luck but he was being nice with a warning. it was eventually gonna happen. do it the right way. paint the bezels black for the headlights and tails.

Working on the headlights. They will be legal soon. Just gotta find time to finish everything. As for the tails, so annoying that they are plastic welded. I would rather pay somebody to do it, but don't know who I'd trust and who could actually do it. Nobody here in San Diego that I know of.
 
That sucks... I know someone in IL that can do your your taillights, not sure if he has free time to do it though:ninja:
 
You have to cut it open and reseal it with silicone. Wow, this is the first that I heard the LED when bad.

I don't really have a plan yet. I will be buying new sport taillights... what i do with them is to be determined. Ideally cut them open and paint the insides... but maybe just a much lighter spray tint.

Lol! I had trouble shooting it like this, as I don't like when things are perfectly centered in photos. But I let the "rule" go for this pic because I loved it centered :)
 
Any updates?

Whats going on with your headlights and tailights? I know you bought some stuff. Share with us, im broke and can't mod my FX so I am feeding my mod itch through you guys...lol
 
I just installed my new taillights today! Jeff (J3FF3R$ON) made them for me, and I love them! He took apart a set of sport lights, painted the interior black, used a clear reflector from the red taillights, resealed, and had them custom painted for my car. Here are a couple quick pics :)

Those look SWEET. No euro mod done to them? I know one of Jeff's friends was able to do the mod for him, but at that time didnt know how easy it would be to replicate the results without the car actually being in their hands.

I got my headlights from Jeff, and I love them. His custom headlights and taillights are popping up everywhere. lol.
 
Very nice!! They compliment your ride soooooo good. Good call on the clear reflectors, I did the same thing to mine, makes it look more unified!!
