You called it Doc. The cash, the time.... Had I known, I'have invested in the 56 swap and stuck it out. Would had taken just as long and been more predictable (maybe).
 
Really hope Silver Surfer rides again by July. I will be in town then and really wanted to see your build.

Really, Seattle? Keep me advised as to the dates, I'll prep the garage and clean up my tools!:) god, I hope its done by then......
 
Good timing......tech that built the engine pulled the car from the shop and went elsewhere. He said it is now running better, not sure what he has done but he will be taking it to another tuner who he has faith in to do it right. He says soon I gave up holding my breath a long time ago.
 
You guys are seriously supportive and it's very much appreciated. Pressure is on as the tech's friend who owns the loner car I am driving sold it. He moved to England and in the beginning he didn't care so much, turns out he does want the cash for the car. Which reminds me, I have perfectly good low mileage VK56 I can sell for a chunk of change........
