If you going to put one back on, might want to use those "secure" hex bolt that has a pin in the center on head.

thats a shame, living near newark NJ, i worry sometimes about the same shit.. afraid im gonna come back to something missing or damaged.. hopefully revenge is served nice and sweet somehow

Definitely check around CL or eBay like Soon said. Maybe they think its a general part they can get quick cash for. Do you have IS decals on your car? They could be lurking here too. :ninja:

Thats the thing i usually don't park on the streets, I have a garage, but i just happend to be by a friends house around Mcdonald Ave and Ave O. I was gone for about 5-6 hours and it was right on the corner in broad daylight!!!

Ye firs thing I did was check Cl and eBay, but im thinking it's someone who has an FX and knew that part was a bolt on...

Been off InfinitiScene for awhile but decided to come back and see what's new. Damn this is a nice mod. For the guys who have this, do you have hi-res closeups of the gap? Now that i've got my own house and garage I can finally work on my FX!!!
 
Yep, that's foam. I think my gap there is a bit smaller. You just to push it in to close the gap while you drill the holes to mount the skid plate.

By the description, it sounds right. Might want to message the ebay seller for pic to confirm, or call Parts Geek to cross reference their part# with the Jeep part#.

UPDATE: The eBay seller returned my message saying the parts are for the REAR bumper. They had no further info or pictures available. Vague ad. Big bummer.
 
Thanks Lucki. Its not expensive and still readily available though partsgeek. I just got excited when I saw the same description for half the price. It works out okay. With my long project list, it would have sat in my garage for a while. It will come around eventually.
