2012 Infiniti FX (Pics and Info)

is there a technical advancement with this revision?
when Germans make a LCI they change 500+ parts to improve their cars.
is there nothing wrong with the 2nd Gen?
The front facelift seems so minimal for a mid-life update.


I have a 2005 and very happy with it, but it's not that everything is perfect...
 
I'm assuming jrandall just means that it is a non promotional shot so no PS tweaks with color, saturation, curves, etc. Just a standing shot made from afar.

The press release photos highlight the revisions dramatically with their angles and lighting. This recent shot is more natural and the new grille is less pronounced.

And yes...I too disagree with the Camry comparo although my wrinkled first gen can't deny the aged interior claim. =P

Front looks good!

The new grill makes the front end look slightly shorter, a bit more proportionate to the rest of the vehicle nice design. I think it looks fine as is why make the FX look like the rest of the boring SUVs out there? If you want something conservative there is lots to chose from out there.
 
This pic makes it look no more different then the 2nd gen other then the grill and fog lights. Maybe with how they changed the grill they tried to go back and copy the 1st gen grill.

Grille looks good, I am sure after it is out for a bit more people will like the slight redesign.
 
Jdtrader, where did you get that picture? I already have the limited edition on order and am searching for new photos every day! The color on your pic is gorgeous and much richer than the press pics.

I hated the front end and grill on the last gens. I think the new grill makes it look much more proportionate to the body and love the little tweaks. Since the limited has all dark metal where chrome would be, I think the side vents and front fog accents will look great.

Please tell me you have more pictures?
 
Sick, sick, sick! I've been toying with the idea of creating a lower custom diffuser on the bumper like this for the 1G.
