2012 Infiniti FX (Pics and Info)

I always prefered the 2nd gen > the 1st gen. The first gen always reminded me of the Toyota Camry on the front end with the way the headlights were designed. And the cheap interior on top of it never helped. Just IMO


I don't care for the 2nd gen 2012 look either. The new grille took away from the aggresiveness from the front end the 2009-2011 models have.:tdown:

The grill looks fugly IMO :tdown: well i guess us 2009-2011 fxs are unique now lol :tup:
 
when I saw the first pics....I was expecting something else....more with the bumper instead of a squeezed grill......not sure what I think....I don't think it looks better or worse, just different....

but with your adobe coilovers, badgeless, fog mod, etc, it looks sick compared to the unmodified pics!

+1 I was thinking about the same thing.. One thing for sure front facia looks way better than the 09-11 ones...

They are def moving into a new direction they know they messed up now they are trying to fix it..

I agree, and I also love the look of the 1st Gens, the 2012 looks too cheeky as Logan says.

It is different....here is my guess....

picture 11 is FX35 production.
picture 9 and 10 is FX35 limited edition model. Notice no wood paneling, everything black. You might think maybe no perforated holes would be a downgrade, but it actually has a crocodile type seat style, so maybe it's in fact an upgrade. Will be interesting! the last pic in the series also is the limited edition FX35.

Did you guys notice they dropped the red dash to match now the other infiniti lineup? I kind of liked the red contrast like how the 2009 is...I think the 2010/2011 also has the red?

Yep, this recent photo seems to make the new FX look more distinguished, while still keeping it unique. Of course, I still prefer the look of the 1st gen FX, followed by the 2nd gen, and now the 2012. Hmm, I wonder if the '12 would look good in black? IMHO, I think that both the 1st and 2nd gen FXs look awesome in black...:tup:

btw: those hideous chrome drops designs are still the same :tongue (2): , along with them cheeky cheeks.
