2012 Infiniti FX (Pics and Info)

for some reason the front of the FX reminds me of the new toyota higlander. Unless im loosing it

Omg what happened to that front end! It looks like someone's aunt was pinching their cheeks together with one hand. Ewww.

This new body style is definitely not attractive to me. The front reminds me a fat kids face with chubby cheeks. I'd figure infiniti would come out with a more aggressive look. That's what i see in earlier years fx's. When you look at this it's a double take.

Will the 2012 have the blind spot warning and forest air climate control that's featured on the new m? Also, surprised there are no led signals in the mirrors. I like the front grill though and turbine wheels

I don't like the new front. The 09-11 grill was special and aggressive, especially when it's blacked out. The 2012 grill, while angular like the Essence Concept, does not have the sporty mesh texture, which made it look great.

Seems like the there are more 03-08 FX guys who prefer the new look, possibly because the new grill resembles the 03-08 more?

I love the new blue though. Reminds me of the 240Z blue which I like. Blacked out headlights for FX35 is nice too.

Fugly millennium edition rims.

What's revised on the gauge cluster? Just changing the display from red to white?

only a mother would love style :skull: The new FX35 can be purchase after Dec 21st, 2012. :smile (2):

I guess Infiniti hired the designers who designed the Acura grille.

Seems like Infiniti wants the new FX to blend in with the rest of their line up next year. But the fact that the first 2 gens of FX did not blend in gave them the special "X factor" which made the FX unique.

almost as covering up your bald spot with the classic comb over, hopefully the 3rd gen will start from scratch with the first gen in mind.

The 3rd Gen should be a complete new redesign. They didn't change too much w/ the 2nd Gen so they will probably go all out with the 3rd Gen. I was talking to the guy at an Infiniti Dealership and he said one of the managers got a hold of an early design
of the 3rg gen FX and he said it was radical...but they wouldn't even give me a peek!!

No sport tail lights ..guess I gotta. Tint them...that grill is ugly ..if I got one for free I would put 09-11 front end ..on it .....love the new color tho.... guess my car just get to look good for 3 more years

I think the JX front looks better actually than the new FX front...looks more sleek and streamlined. Looks like with the FX they tried to squeeze in this new front to fit but it seems off :/

not a fan of the chrome trim around the fogs.. how really wants that? next will be chrome trim around the fenders and the door jambs.
