it means they got your confirmation number on Aug 22, but didnt bring it to the post office until Aug26. Hopefully you received it today.
 
I sent my old ones back 8-23 priority mail. Can't wait to get my pretty new box.
 
Well when I got off of work this morning I put on the my new bulbs. I was so excited when I changed out one of them and it turned on!!!

So I quickly went to put on the other side and my excitement was short lived when I saw this....

So I started playing with the pins to make sure everything was right but yet no luck, so I switched the bulbs

So after switching the bulbs I've come to the conclusion that maybe I may have a bad bulb in my hands. I sent Luis a pm this morning to see what he can do for me now the waiting game begins.....

You actually have to look into the socket as you put in the build to make sure it makes contact with metal inside the socket.
 
Yup, spent about 20 mins trying everything and couldn't get it to turn on so maybe it's just a bad bulb.

Ya I had to mess with the other bulb to make sure it made contact but when I tried with the other bulb it didn't work so Idk? Hopefully Luis gets back to me soon.

Sad to say

Hey guys, its disappointing for me to do this but it looks like we are going to have to call off this GB. We are seeing way too many problem with the CREEs running as DTRLs. Managers basically told me this is out of my area of duties, this is our first time doing a GB on any forums and I would take the blame for it not going as smooth as I initially intended it to be.

What to do now:
Basically what I need you guys to do for me as a favor is to send back the bulbs via USPS (first class preferably with a delivery confirmation) and we will issue all the refunds to everyone including shipping.

Thanks IS for putting up with me this time. Great guys.

Color-wise, the CREE bulbs are a little bit bluer than the Morimotos. I think it matches with the DDM 6K Fog bulbs better in color. I still like the results, though!

sorry that this gb is not going well as we all hope. maybe this one is just getting the pins/connections right?

mine is on and never failed since day one. i have not done the dtrl mod and switch too.

At this point, I just want my money back without having to jump through hoops to get it, if I have to make a trip to SOCAL over $35 I'm gonna collect on way more than that. I have been as patient as I am going to be.

GIVE ME MY MONEY, NOW! :mad.:
