2cond gens seem to have more problems than 1st gens.
Nah it's not that. The dealer forgot to tighten up the oil filter and it went everywhere. It's the dealers fault.

sorry about your experience. which dealer is this? i hope they fix everything right.
maybe go to cheryl at metro next time.
man... im turning into john(turbocad) with my FX... i pretty much do everything myself.. if something was wrong i have no one to blame but my self.. plus no one will care for my FX as much as i do....
there is a [DEALER REVIEW] prefix.
we need to take this seriously summit a review from this dealership
wow thats just bs, they not only need to fix everything they need to check everything and looks like this may be the beginning of a huge problem. after they "fix" your fx you should think about taking to another dealer like metro to have them double check or a dealer with experience...=(
it might not be impossible that the belt could have caused the oil filter to loosen. it would have been slapping it in the right direction to do so I think... does it look like that might have been the case?
I had both of my belts replaced by the dealer last oil change. I suggest any FX after 30k to get a new set of belts.
i had good experiences with the manager and service reps at glendale, but i told them someone is careless with handling the vehicles since i keep getting scratches and even tool marks (on the exterior and interior) though they responded by fixing or replacing what was damaged. i even witnessed an angry customer screaming "my car has a big scratch and no one is helping me!!!" at one visit. hope they get it right this time. and i still think it is worth the drive to metro next time.:smile (2):
Is the label/stamp still legible on that belt?
Are you thinking maybe they never replaced the belts or didn't remove the stickers from the new belt?
