No, just remove front driver's side tire. Reach in, it's tight but you can turn it.
Nice thanks bro

i had it tightened (really tightened, prob more than required lol) and still same, smh
I hear you man. Over two years I went through having a wheel straightened,Road Force balance, Allignment and still the 50 to 60mph shake persisted. I thought it was my 22" rims because when I ran the stock wheels the shake was gone. But what was really happening was that as the wheel gets wider and the offset is further out any looseness in the steering system is amplified. I was so amazed at how easy this fix was after all this time. A lot of others took theirs into the dealer and they were not able to fix the shake issue. One of the best DIY's ever![]()
Did this fix last weekend and it works! I was resigned earlier to accepting the steering wheel vibration when I get to 60-80mph after doing road force and numerous alignments in the past. Who would have thought a small screw could fix a long time issue. I did 1/2 turn initially and found the steering wheel was too stiff while turning. Loosened it up by 1/4 turn it was perfect afterwards. Thanks for the tip!:top:
Dont turn ur wheel, keep ur tires straight when adjusting
Oh i see. Hmm That's odd. My steering is straight as it can be after the adjustment with the wheels turned. I guess i got lucky.
