Infiniti Security flaws!!!

I have shinny wheels! :eek.:It sucks man...Never happend so far...And i hope it doesn't! Isn't a way to get it fixed?

Same thing happened to me at Crowne Plaza in Englewood,NJ. Damn windows rolled down and thief stole everything. Dont think the alarm also went off. Infiniti has to fix this issue.

Ah man i hate seeing this stuff happen. Sorry that happen to you man. We take such good care of our stuff and someone just comes along and messes it all up. Wish there was a feature that if you touch my vehicle it will shock the shit outta you. :tongue (2):

This keyhole delete feature, Is it available for the 03-08's ????

Yeah, I recall Humberto doing it to his 1st gen. There is a thread on here somewhere about it.

Infiniti should & must fix this flaws, they are responsible for this!:mad.: if I can in any way get them to pay my $500 deductible but I don't think they would:frown: Just got the info from the adjuster it cost $1989.14 to repair the damage and I get to drive a crappy 4 cylinder 2010 chevy cobalt for a loaner for 4 days. Yey! stupid thief!!:mad.::mad.::mad.:

I think its time to disable the windows up and down feature with key.

I agree:tup: This incident makes me think twice now to leave my ride anywhere :mad.: If this happens again I'm trading it in for X6 or Range Rover sports.

That really sucks. I have parked in that mall parking lot many times with no problems.

On a side note, this thread should probably be deleted as it is telling the open public how to easily break into our cars....Just a thought.

Same thing happened to me in Jersey City a year ago. Avel Auto body in jersey city blocked the metal plate that triggers the window roll own so if someone tries this again they'll only walk away with a hole in my door. Same thing happened to my bro in law's 1st gen. Unfortunately every car theif in Jersey knows this and owning any infiniti in Jersey City/Elizabeth and Newark is not safe.

2k9FX - great idea...this happened on my G37...don't know why I'm trading up to the FX if this still happens on the 2011. Their website says
Remote power-opening of windows; closing via key in exterior door lock so it shouldn't roll down the windows?

Well you can also put the key in the door lock and turn the key the other way to get the windows to roll down.

Their is an easy fix to this though. Just don't leave you car parked in some ghetto area like what the original poster did, and it'll solve your problems lol

Exactly...if it can be done, they'll do it no matter where you are, they don't care. But I'll have to look into this mod of having it block the window roll down. I'd rather have them leave a hole in the door then be able to get in and take stuff. Less likely that after that they will want to make more noise by breaking a window and setting off the alarm, but I never leave anything visible except my old 11 band cobra radar! I wonder if the impact alarm sensor will even be of any use?
