**Coils would ride better though**
Rear Isn't an option as it is a ridged system. You need to hae Mc Pherson to get it done as the HLS swaps out the little tension spring on the coil. BC doesn't have that now....only one large spring but it is no problem for them to make i already asked. You just need to mention it when ordering.
But front is the main concern anyway.......with the bumpers some of us have and the underpan when driving so low........
Ohhhh buddy you were so close getting your tapped on the fingers.....it is that you corrected yourself after what i posted above
When wanting to have a good quality airride setup you'd easy be looking at 3-4 K as well IMO.
But indeed this set-up has better performance as Bags don't have that side-stabilisation that springs have ( again IMO ).....sold both.
Bags do look far more crzay when all dropped. But on the other side not that natural also anyone knows you gannot drive that height....... :err:
Jeff, your old Mazda was siiick, love it.
I've been riding on the BC's for some time now. I've driving at different adjustment settings over this time. What im feeling is the springs are a bit mushy mainly at the rear. Let me explain, when driving down the highway and hitting a little dip in the road the car squats hard in the rear, fronts seem ok. You can feel the back end go way down and then up. Never felt this with stock, Eibach or H&R's. I tend to ride mostly at a few clicks from hard to try to control the squat but at higher speeds it doesn't help much. The FX does handle way better than all 3 springs in cornering. I like them highly for this. Perfect ride would be H&R spring ride with BC handling.
I know of another member that has mentioned to me he's feeling the same squat with the Megan's.
The kit you posted ray looks awsome and I would buy it right now if the $$$$ for it was not so high :frown:
Flying down the freeway going 80mph at 4am and hit a dip in the road, bottomed out and felt like I was ready to lose traction on the way up is a concern for me. Never an issue with stock, Eibach or H&R's . If I have 1 adult sits in the back seat it drops down visually to were no other spring I have had on was so noticeable. If I click to all the way soft its a mushy ride all the way around...no stiffness to the ride. Id like to try a stiffer spring rate. Not sure the cost of just springs.
Question/concern: Why does my ride height randomly go up?
Question/concern: Why does my ride height randomly go up?
For whatever reason, the driver side rear raised up since install. I never touched the rears either. Unfortunately I don't have access to lifts and jacks anymore, which is why I had them set before I left for school. Or maybe it's possible that the passenger side just dropped lower for whatever reason. Everything should be tight though as I had a squeak and checked everything then.it should be locked in place, are you sure its the coilovers moving? in 6 years of doing this i've never seen one go up and down...now on the megans since they do not have the locking collar...that is possible...
Hmmm i'm trying to think wether it is a too soft spring rate or the rebound of your coil needs to be hardend more.
But when a spring rate is too hard.......it can push out the rear faster also.
I had client with 350Z mounted with KW talking about the rear being too bounshy in the beginning. Also with having not much weight in the rear.
But After a while the springs sat in and became softer and all was ok.
How many miles did you drive the BC kit already....??
