How did we miss this? There are BC Racing Coilovers already out there for first generation FX35/FX45 (2003-2008).

Roughly USD 1,000.

"Features- The best coilover for the money, hands down!

  • 53mm Dampers (larger then the competition
  • fixed cup/locking collar design (unlike cheap coilovers will not change ride heights, change camber, and wear out your tires!
  • Full pillowball mounts front + rear
  • 30 way adjustable
  • optional rear extenders so you do not have to take out the rear seat every time to change the range on the dampers
  • Clicks when you turn the damper handle so you can keep track of position
  • 1 year warranty
  • $95 after the 1 year and you get a replacement! no waiting 1 month and paying $250 from those other brands!!!!

So im skeptical about these, i'd like to see some reviews?NASIOC REVIEWS

With over 1150 sets sold by Import Image Racing there is plenty of information out there on them to help you make the right decisionWhy would you want the competition over these?
It beats me!

The only comparable coilover set to these are the tein flex coilovers which come in at nearly double the price.
Tein's have smaller dampers and a worse warranty ($250 per coilover and 1 month without it!!!) you can have a new bc coilover (which we doubt you will need) in just a few days!so what are you paying for? the name :( yep thats it!

Common questions-
  • Are these going to be okay to daily drive in bad weather? YES SIR! winter, salt, rain, they will take what you throw at it (these are tarmac coilovers not rally coilovers)
  • Will my wife divorce me/girlfriend leave me if i get these? No! not because of ride comfort, but if you spent your vacation money, they might be mad!
  • Can i get rear camber plates for these? yes we will include bc racing rear camber plates at time of purchase for $150...don't need as much adjustment? ask us about camber bolts for the rear for much less $
  • I live outside of the 48 states will you ship to me!? Yes we have shipped these all over the world, they are on EVERY continent! (okay you caught me, i have never sold a set to africa...but everywhere else )
  • I heard about an inverted series, do you have those? Yes sir we do!
  • They do cost more, but on the track/auto-x they will provide more
  • These are slightly stiffer, respond faster, and out perform the other series but are also a little bit more expensive. If your a weekend racer these may be for you! Ground shipping only within 48 states, everything else will have a bill!"

Nice find, I had BC coilovers when I had my WRX, which I also bought from importimageonline.com. Never installed them though, since I sold my WRX. Would be cool if they gave us a nice GB discount.

nice find!
they must not sell much since they didnt even let 'us' know

*there is no listing on their website and only one of the sellers you link has them listed for a FX ...

Megan's? BC's? What to do? What's the dealeo Ed, has James's schedule turned you into a auto parts search engine? :)

it's because the actual company doesnt have them listed, but sellers do. Are you sure they are actually for the fX, and not just ones that can "fit"?

I'm not interested in these so some who is can call, just pointing these out. I noticed that too, could just be not update on their website, I have no idea.

For $1,000, I guess what can you expect. Like Wilwood big brake kits, they sell universal parts and some dealers put them together to fit a car. It could have happened that someone tried them out like a FX with Murano HKS coil overs and they happen to somewhat fit and only require slight modifications.

The description for the coil overs is universal for all those cars listed, they share as many parts as possible.

If you find out more information, please let us know.

Oh look its my shiny head!

im gathering a bit more info on the FX specific coilovers (texting the owner of BC right now) and we'll get you posted

best regards

josh

Welcome to :iS:

Is this the shipped price? Any more info about the reliability and warranty specifics from BC?

thank you

yes its shipped within the 48 states...$1075 to canada/ak/hi

i've sold over 2000 sets of bc racing coilovers, i can link you to some review threads with over 3 years of ratings. I've been there since the start and they are one of my best selling products.

warranty goes like this. first year, anything breaks (99% no issues) you get it replaced free.
For the rest of the time you own the vehicle you can rest assured knowing that the most a replacement will cost you is $95! that means even if you put 100k miles on them a replacement is only $95! whatever breaks they do not rebuild, they will send you a new part. no other company does that. the other guys will charge you $250 per coilover and give you some serious 1 month down time. this would be a quick turn around just depending on how far you are from FL.

best regards

Josh

Hi Josh,

Good to know. Are there adjustments for the rear to get it into spec? With just lowering springs (H&R), our cars are almost (or are) out of spec. This is with only a 1.3" front drop and 1.2" rear drop. For me, only the left rear camber is out of spec, but clearly varies by car. A farther drop would get me out of spec for sure. The front is easy as kits are easily available by H&R, Eibach and also the adjustable plate BC provides.

Also, I'm guessing this is the entire suspension -- I have a strut bearing that needs replacing on the top of my strut -- not sure if this comes with the BC Coilovers?

Want to provide me a set at a discount so I can install and report back and get you to sell even more of these? I did post a picture of you, making you famous on these forums

give me a call and we'll set you up 239 540 6385 as a review set for this forum.

Basically do to the suspension design on that vehicle the rear doesnt have an optional camber plate rather control arm (made by another company)
I don't do a ton of FX's but i know on the 350z/g35 there are eibach and other camber kits to help with toe + camber. so basically camber plates would be useless...

it does come with new top hats and rear extenders
