give me a call and we'll set you up 239 540 6385 as a review set for this forum.

Basically do to the suspension design on that vehicle the rear doesnt have an optional camber plate rather control arm (made by another company)
I don't do a ton of FX's but i know on the 350z/g35 there are eibach and other camber kits to help with toe + camber. so basically camber plates would be useless...

it does come with new top hats and rear extenders

Thanks Josh.

I'm going to pass on being the reviewer. Anyone else want to set up to the plate and test these out?

Someone needs to review these. After riding on the Megan's, it's hard to just leave them for another that no one has tried yet.

returned. they are a definite upgrade from the megan units...

its like comparing a murano to the FX...fx beats it in every way

Fxlr8 is our guy, getting you taken care of now

Thanks all, will try and do an install diy, pics, and review. Might not look as low on mine since I do have smaller tires. Couldn't pass up BC's warranty.

I've spent a large part of the day looking up BC Coilovers on the Suby thread and on my350z. They seem like a good part and good price. Just one thing, do the FX ones have the camber plate, because I noticed the 350z ones don't. Also, do we have to use the extenders in the rear to adjust dampening?

Was reading that due to the design of our cars, they use pillow mounts... Not sure what that means but http://www.my350z.com/forum/suspens...-coilovers-for-03-350z-g35-intro-special.html

Looking forward to hearing this report. The DIY will be critical in alleviating install issues and the parts list will keep us all from running back and forth to the dealer......go Jeff!

For years there has been no coilovers on the market for the first gen FX. and now there are 2 good potential products here at the same time. Im ready to buy now but I cant make up my mind on which way to go....decisions. Who would have ever though.

Thanks Jeff, I'll wait for your review

im not a big fan of coilovers, they usualy make the ride quality bad

That's a pretty big generalization , true some coilovers (usually the cheaper ones) can kill ride quality AND also make clunking and clicking noises, but for instance , I have bilstein PSS coilovers in my lex and it rides beautifully. I can't see them valving FX coilovers for aggressive spring rates , it's not a race car. A coilover something like the Tein CS would be nice , we could get a 2.5 - 3" drop and still ride nice...

I will be waiting for reviews. I will purchase BC or Megan. I've been dying to get thinner tires and go lower.

Congrats Jeff on the coilovers! cant wait to see your ride slammmmmed.

Although coilovers are out of my budget, this means that many members will be parting with their h&rs/eibachs hehe. time to be on the lookout
