What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

:good: Awesome. These vent visor should look will look just as nice on the 2nd Gen too. Calling Adam/Soonster to chop them onto a 2nd Gen.
 
I never quite understood the purpose of vent visors. I first thought they were to help smokers smoke in the car while it rains. So out of just pure ignorance on my behalf, what's the deal with the visors?

there is a noticeable difference in highway driving with wind noise
deflects rain
keeps the sun away when tinted windows cracked
 
Silly question, how does one install the chrome knobs from Ray? They're sitting in my hand and I'm about to do it.

I've pulled on them but they aren't budging, do I need to use a little more force?

Yes. They just pull off. I used a small curved pick to get behind the oem and gave them a tug. Some have used a pliers but I did not want to ruin the originals.
 
Modded my power folding mirrors to fold automatically when the doors lock, and unfold when the doors unlock or when the acc power is turned on. The manual switch still works fine.

Took longer than expected, but I am very happy with the result.

Yes its growing on me. They are a pain to keep clean. I might put on the HRE's for a bit. I have an extra set of outer lips that's why i decided to put them on my Black set of HRE's. I still have a set of HRE's 648R's with a polished lip as well.
