What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

brought my fx in for service warranty. got a ex (Q50) loaner. When i got in i had no idea how to adjust the mirrors lol. its a quick little sucker but i hate the transmission shifts. BTW anyone know what the middle console button that looks like a seat with an arrow do? theres 2 of them.

I got a used set of calliper a off of a 2011 fx50. A new set of rotors from beck arnley.. Front was direct bolt on, had to modify front banjo bolts on a bench grinder. Rear backing plates had to be modified for calliper and rotor installation. Used rear calipers had hard brake lines and hoses still attached and were a direct bolt on.

Debadged the Fx35 today. Wasn't too bad of a job. I'm glad I had long thumb nails to help scrap the adhesive from the tailgate.
Used the Goo gone gel rubbed it in really good. Let it soak for 20 mins scraped with my nail then used Goo gone liquid.
Applied two coats of wax to finish it off.

Detailed the paint over the weekend. Washed, clayed, corrected a few areas with compound first using DA, polished with DA, IPA wipe down, then sealed with a bonding agent and polish. Also detailed windows. Looks awesome. Plan to do the trim this weekend with some new products recently acquired.

Finally installed all the stuff I ordered for the fx. All new brakes, all new sway bar end links, new rear shocks, new wheel bearings, swaped out the rear 20mm spacers for 25mm spacers along with 10 guage copper crush washers. I feel like this mod/maintenance bug doesn't end lol

Painting the front and rear to fix some peeling clear. Also taking off front license plate and filling holes. Gonna mount it somewhere else so it looks a lot cleaner

I removed the front plate bracket, and never relocated it, I just dont have it on, its a tad anoying they hid the screw it for the tow hook with the license plate mount. so now you can see it, oh well might spray paint it black, and put in a black bolt to hide it.

If you want, there is an official plastic cover for the tow hook. Mine was in my glove box when I bought the car.
