Since Old Man Winter decided to skip Chicago this year, I took advantage of the amazing weather to first of all, replace my driver side fogs with 4350K Halogens (didn't want it to be much whiter since they are afterall foglights). It was a bit easier than I thought to get to the fogs from the front wheel-wells. I did have to take off some trim.
Since the trim was already off and I was already under the car, I decided to install my OEM Aero Front Chin. I must say that this completes the look for me. Something about the front end was 'too sharp' (profile) for me. Yes, it would look neater if it was a molded piece but I still really like it. Yes, a slight drop (or 22"s) may also help but I am far from that now. Perhaps one day I will feel the urge to do so.

I will never break... lol.. I just have to stay away from bucktown/wicker park area so I won't see your car... And you stay away from the west loop..
Looking really sharp Phil! Great job! Nice and shiny too! Congrats and doing it yourself!
BTW, it's supposed to warm up again...it's never going to be winter. Sorry guys, it was my fault. I bought winter tires and a snowblower in November.
Upgraded my navigation maps! had 7.3 now 7.6 :P
Haha..until the late Jan tentative meet Jonas just mentioned to me.

Thanks man! Truth be told, getting to the fogs was harder than the lip install. Hardest part of lip is getting the template right. Fortunately, I was more patient than usual.

Awesome. Is it very different? Are the new versions still >$100? Really expensive especially since most have Navi data in their phones.

Tim, I might have missed it, how does your ride perform and sound now that you have the headers installedI'm all done, but I tapped the alternator connection with my ratchet this morning and blew a fuse. I just got back from the dealer but got Shanghai'd by parenting before I could replace said fuse. First startup will have to wait for tomorrow.
Btw, failing to disconnect the battery before this job cost me $64, a trip to the dealer, and however long it takes to swap the positive terminal on the battery.
