What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Since I can't lower my car properly yet, these should weigh enough to lower it a bit..

I found out the weight from my OEM factory tow hitch lowers the rear by 1/2" compared to stock without the tow hitch. Just realized that today:eek:

Finally moved the Amp in the trunk inside of the spare wheel.

Installed the rear bumper protector from 2nd gen to prevent from dog's paws. Looks good IMO.

That does look good, do you have any more pictures of it. My bumper has been through a lot-this could help.

I had to let my wife take the FX to work! First time but it's my own fault. She had a nail in her tire and I forgot to take care of it before bed last night. Already finished it this morning but now just hoping the FX comes home safe at the end of the day.

Is her car in pretty good shape?

That looks nice! Didn't think it would fit as well as it does.. did you pick it up from Sewell?

I wasn't sure about the curve in it, until I finally parked next to a 2nd gen and made a quick comparison. I actually found it on eBay for $80:tup:.

Man Adam, you beat me to it. I was gonna do it and debating how it will fit the first gen. Looking good. I seen it listed on ebay for $130?

Andy, well now you know how it will fit, go for it. $130 is still good. most of the ones I've seen are $250 and up. I will take a few more pics in a bit, plus will e-mail you the sub pics too.

GTR wheels, Hankook tires, 20mm H&R spacers (front), Rays lugs.
You should have come over for the front spacer installing party!

Just installed spacers on Tommy's (Tekneek) FX. Completely forgot to take a picture, which I was looking forward to. Just realized it took me an hour, but I wanted to be careful and not use the impact gun and risk scratching anything. Here's to hoping they don't shake on the highway.

Hopefully he will put up some pics too. GTR wheels with 25mm are View attachment 204347

Thanks again Stu for helping me install the spacers today & for being extra careful. Your a pretty cool guy! Sorry I had to leave right after & about my friend complaining lol. Car drives great with no shakes & fronts look awesome. I will take a pic tomorrow & post. I will be coming by again to install my strut bars in a few weeks if that's ok. Again, it was nice meeting u finally! On a side note, the G35 engine covers fit ours correct? I was thinking about buying the CF ones...

Haha no problem. Strut bar will be a cinch. I remember when I installed mine long ago though and had no tools and had no idea what I was doing. And yeah the G covers will fit well, they are basically the same as our.

Dang it! just saw this.. I went to happy hour yesterday, then played black ops.. that would have been fun.. if you guys gtg let me know.. i'll PM my cell#. i want to see how the 25mm fit. I think the 20mm's are still a little tucked.. btw, my rears stick out a bit. Are you guys experiencing the same?

Just put my GTSpec strut bar on my 2009 FX35. Easy mod. 45 minutes.

25mm on GTRs are a near perfect flush on the fronts. Could even do 30mm. My rears also stick out a bit also being that the rears are 10.5 wide.
