What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

A friend sent me his stitched leather shift knob from an 2008 Infiniti M45 Sport.
I will put it on when it's not blowing and snowing. I have no garage.



Here it is in his G35 Sedan

I was going to do this, but the shifter doesn't match cause the stitching on the graphite interior in our rides are a brownish red color. The one on the M sport shifter is a light stone color. I think it doesn't look right.:wink (2):

I got the tow hitch too. Another reason I don't have an aftermarket exhaust lol. I need the tow hitch more anyways.

LOL...your right that would solve the problem but the hitch is much more useful then the exhaust. Unfortunately, it solves the less of the problem. :smile (2):

Stillen under drive pulley...3M Carbon fiber centerstack wrap

Did the pulleys yesterday.... the FX has always been a fun ride, the pulley change makes it feel even stronger...had the Carbon fiber wrap done a few weeks back.. Black Carbon fiber.

Hah, I got the lecture from Ed. Pictures of everything off, everything on, weigh everything both OEM and the BBK.....I'll leave one day for the photoshoot/product analysis and one day for the install =)

JBT - 15" rotors front and rear, 6 pot front, 4 pot rear. LAFX also jumped in on the same buy. If the set-up is good as it sounds it should be pretty sweet....Really hoping that my mildly grating brakes can hold out for another four weeks.

Lubricated all the Rubber Seals

Today after a good hand wash, I lubricated every single rubber seal I could get to on the car with Johnsen's Silicone Lubricant for the winter. I lubricated the rubber seals in all the doors, door jambs, rear trunk, and engine bay hood. I love this stuff cause it's silicone based as recommended and waterproof:
