What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

They sell them as stoptech but I think centric makes them. When I get home I will be able to get the link to the site.

Ok thanks. I found out a couple weeks ago that Centric, Power Slot, and Stoptech are all connected, so that's very possible.

dropped my gf's family at the airport early morning for their flight to San Diego..first time i had 5 ppl in my car. after i took off the tonneau cover, i was surprised to see the FX hold 2 big and 3 small suitcases as well as a carrying bag!!!! i kept the rpm at 3.5k most of the time to annoy her mom with my Invidia...i don't like her.

Cleaned out the back to allow room for luggage. Preparing for my road trip to Vegas for X-Mas. Girlfriend got it all hooked up for us. Couple friends gooing so needed the back seat for the rare rear seat passenger. Gonna be a good time. Merry X-Mas Scene!

Oh yeah, bid on some morimoto HID's. Awaiting offer acceptance.

fixed the exhaust leak my FX had.. now a new form of rattling appeared at the Y pipe... My FX is telling me something..( new Exhaust..??) lol

okay, so... I don't post in this thread since I've been living in Vancouver, and my FX stayed in SoCal... I obviously don't drive it AT ALL. And prior to moving up there, I didn't really drive it much anyways... I just drove my old Acura TL-S most of the time (it's why I've been able to keep the mileage so low, it's an 03' with only about 52k miles).

Anyways, being in Vancouver I see a lot of FX's... and I mean A LOT! Most of the time they're just plain stock 35's, and I'd say to myself "Nice! But MAN! I miss my FX!".

So, I came home for the holidays a couple weeks ago and stupid me, I forgot to disconnect the battery when I left... sure enough, the FX wouldn't start. Since the FX is parked in the garage next to my dad's old Mercedes which also has a dead battery, I'd either had to get a VERY long jumper cable or take the battery out to have it recharged (which looks to be kinda a pain in the ass to take out).

Today, I finally got around to buying a 20' jumper cable, and jump started it with my Acura... DAMN! It felt good! I had been missing that exhaust note! So, I let it run for a few minutes and decided to take it for a drive around the block... in sub 50 degrees temperature, I rolled down all four windows so I can hear that sound of symphony created by the Nismo pipes :tup::tup:. I come back and pulled up into the garage and was a bit hesitant to turn the car off.... I stopped the engine and immediately tried starting it again... and it wouldn't start :frown: I guess the battery's done, or needs to be recharged... sucks because I was really hoping to take it out for some pics this weekend (especially since the 6 days of rain has ended)... I guess I could try and get the battery charged tomorrow or Friday, but I've got a lot of things I need to do before Christmas... so it probably won't happen. We'll see.

A trip around the block probably isn't enough to recharge a fully depleted battery. Jump it again and take it out for a half hour or so, keeping the rpms moderately high (you don't have to race it, but the alternator is rpm-dependant and at idle the battery doesn't charge at all). If that doesn't work, your battery is toast.
