What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

took off the 8000k D2S bulbs and fogs, and put back the OEM philips D2S bulbs along with ddm 4500k fog bulbs. Huge difference
 
Colgan bra is way easier than the tape. I would get one of those again in a sec. covers more than you've got wrapped here, & you can get the mirror covers too

Only thing is price versus usage. It's an '07 with 46k miles now so my front is far from perfect. That and I would only use it a few times a year. Only did the taping for this trip because I don't have a place to wash it yet that I know of.
 
I picked mine up for 40 shipped from another member years ago (less the mirror covers). It was in perfect shape, & really held up over the years of on & off. That said, I would buy it new if i had too.

& my nose is pit free thanks to it
 
Yeah if I could find one for a good price it would be great. It wouldn't look as cool as the tape though. :tongue (2):

Haha I love it. Everyone stares at it I guess because it looks like the FX is baby blue at first. Their faces are priceless.
 
Antenna Delete

I got rid of my 7" OEM roof antenna and now have a 1" stubby :tup:

Damn pat, you waste no time do you? Lol. I still have mine from the black fx sitting in the garage.. just waiting for me to get off my a$$. Its ben 10 months now. Haha.

its a race against the clock. I get off work at 530, get to my buddys place at 6. grab some pizza, and we start at 630. Gotta have to beat the sundown before we continue in the garage to minimize mosquito bites!!! haha
 
Got my dash replaced and ac blower motor replaced. The dash looks good, definitely a different material. It's not quite as dark as the original dash, and the material feels a bit rougher. Definitely better than the bubbles though.
 
cleaned the inside of the car for the first time in a few months. Wow was there alot of dog hair in the FX.
