What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Just saw her for the first time in a week and was told the engine will be going back in before the end of the week!

God I hate following up a post like that ^ :eek: with what ..... I installed frigging wiper blade?

I bought another GT-R wheel to add to my collection......
 
thick branches fell on the fx. Some ugly scratches over the side/window trim now.. hopefully can buff them out with some compound

cleaned KN filter
poured in some Chevron Fuel Injector cleaner

Sitting in the customer lounge @ Infiniti of the Palm Beaches waiting on the new dash. Too bad im not 21 for another 2 weeks or else id be toying around in a loaner right now.
 
I went to two auto body places to get estimates after someone decided to take a hand full of steel wool all over my FX a few nights ago. Pretty bummed about it. I had it clay barred, polished, buffed, and waxed 3 weeks ago. Oh well, shit happens.

did alignment balance and a lil peaking on the under carriage :) lol

washed my wheels, lost a wheel weight in the process.

1) went to a local place for a balance with hunter road force.

2) ended up with a shaking steering wheel

3) went to the ghetto where they are used to balancing 22's and larger. used the same hunter road force model and tech said the previous tech did it wrong and put too many weights and in the wrong place.

4) no more shaking steering wheel

I see in your signature that you're joining the AP Racing 6 piston club -- nice! You won't regret it. What about the 4 piston rear?
 
i need to see if the breaks will clear my wheels becsuse i might even go with 8 cause of the 24" i have and next week eibach called me in for R&D
