What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

I have only owned my sweet 2010 for 19 days and have put three coats of wax on her. I just sat today trying to figure what kind of product to put on all that outer plastic. She is such a sweet heart

Changed the coil pack and the plugs...purring beautifully
Oh ! And it just turned 100,042 miles old

Why the coil pack change? Were you getting misfires or out of sequence firing?
#2 started misfiring. Given the mileage, I decided to change them all. While there, checked on the Pulstar plugs I had. Good thing I did, they were in bad shape, so I went back to original NGK laser platinum's.

Finally got around to sound deadening my rear seat area, wheels wells, and flooring. Another nice gain in sound quality....

Worked on my plenum mod plan. I keep changing the design slightly so I haven't actually cut into the plenum yet. I think tomorrow might be the day.

I definetly need to finish sound deanding but I adjust the coilovers to go lower where I cant get a finger in the wheel well just need to do a test drive to see if i like it then it is off to go get an alignment. (good thing I got lifetime alignment)!

Just finished a wash, wax, and interior detail. Will be polishing all the chrome a little later. I really need to get some paint polish!

Painted the grille last weekend, i used krylon fusion satin black and left the chrome lip and logo (might gonna have to paint it again, i've seen some chips on it), and today i gave her a well deserve bath.... here some picss....

the chrome lip looks great to match your car, it would have looked a little out of place on my white fx, so i got mine all black, clean car btw, i gotta wash mine.

headling housing

by painting the housing do you get the smoked headlight effect look or are they tinted on the outside? can you provide more headlight pics please... thanks

great job im sure it wasnt easy

krylon fusion satin black for both the grill and the headlight housing.
did it all by myself.

repaint? curious how krylon holds up... war between krylon fusion or plasti dip... heard the dip holds better cuz of the rubber substance but heard fusion looks more professional? aghhhh:confused::confused:
