good job dude haha. now you're going to post all your detail threads here too? lol

i kid...i kid....

I already know you do awesome work, and i know you can't wait to get your hands on my FX lol.....

thanks baker =)

yes im going to post all my threads up on here. time to whore it up =P

so if you were to do something like this for me...like I guess the "paint-correction" maybe, to get out those swirls etc. etc. would it be around that? I also need my wheels polished...
well my paint correction prices are $250 $350 $450 all depends on the condition of the paint. this black G35 was pretty bad. i cant give you a final price untill i see your truck again. ill give you a good, fair price dont worry. ill polish the wheels for free.

if you want to update & add cars that you detail that's fine, but keep a big A's detailing thread, not a whole big A's detailing forum man  threads merged.

if you want to post up a DIY or anything like that, or any other subject then that would be another thread of course...

^ told you A haha.....

This looks like something I'd see/post in Autopia.
When I first saw your prices at like $95 for 2 step polish, I was like no way, as I do detailing here in socal also. I spend about 8 hours on a 2 step polish and there's no way I can charge that little.
But then reading further, I saw the 250/350/450 and the work described, and knew that this was more like the detailing jobs that I do. Prices seem very fair.

Anyway, enjoyed looking through your work and keep up the good work. Look forward to having some detailing discussions with you in the future.

just a little preview of one of the project im in the middle of working on. shots are taken from the passenger door. the entire car, every single panel has really bad paint damage from automatic car wash abuse & the previous owner mustve hired a butcher to buff the car out. i saw the car under the lights about a month ago @ the GPNY meet. I know the car was bad but big jobs never intimidate me, i was up for the challenge as always.

list of paint problems:

hollograms/extremely deep "buffer trails"
the cause: inexperienced butcher detailer with improper use of a rotary machine. wheel speed was probably around 1700-2000 rpms, may be even 2200. the pad obviously was not kept moist. this is what happens when you run the machine on too high of a speed with a dry pad. im surprised there were not any burn marks in the paint.

heavy & deep swirl marks
the cause: previous butcher detailer

dull/flat reflection
the cause: all these dam paint defects & buffer trails giving off a horrible reflection, making the car not shine to its maximum potential

i am really excited about working on this car. i know the customer will be more than happy. everyone at the local meets has been on his case & telling him to go to me. this car will deffinitly turn heads the next time you see it!

50/50
right side after wash & clay
left side after compound, polish, wax

i wanted to cry after inspecting the paint under the halogen lights
lsbpaintrestorationteasershots003.jpg

i can not wait to finish this car & see every panel looking like this!
