New INVIDIA FX35 FX45 exhaust dual canister NO RASP. PROTOTYPE AVAILABLE SOON

great in-depth review.

too bad about having to cut/weld the pipes to make it fit, at least you got the job done right the 1st time around, glad to hear you're happy with the overall result.

i haven't tried adjusting the tips yet, i'll update when i do tho.

Yeah-It was kind of a drag but when you are in there, its all torn apart, EVERYTHING is on location, (including stainless welding) it was a no brainer to push on through. IF I didn't like the exhaust I guess I'd be irritated but Gordon handled it well and they really had NO idea that the 06's were different.

Still need to check out the tips but doing things on crutches, not so easy.....

Great write up and great contribution to the community. My 1st gen Q300 is still holding strong. I had a slight rattle, but it was an easy fix. It was rubbing the heat shield, but i got under there and bent it slightly to clear. Tips line up perfectly. It sux that you ended up being the guinea pig for the 06-08 models. But i'm glad Gordon and invidia are being helpful. I know this write up will help alot of people. I'm concerned if my GTspec lower lateral is going to fit with the 1st gen Q300. I'm going to fit it tomorrow morning.

Thanks man-At the risk of a Michael Scott "that what she said" all it takes is a 1/2".......

Thanks Logan with the awesome review.

So is it safe to assume my 03 FX should be fine without cutting the pipe when install?

Pretty much-There have been a fair amount of pre 06' FXr's having no issues. Only the 06'+ 45's seem to have the longer cats/head pipes.

Great review Logan! I am sure your contribution here will help others in the future. Glad things worked out, albeit a little more work then expected but in the end if you are happy with the results then that's all that really matters. Also, good to see Gordon and invidia step up to assist you.

Thanks Doc-You were a key contributor on my decision to buy one system that handles everything (Y included). Invidia is also considering manufacturing high qualilty HFC's, think it would be beneficial or overkill?

Hey Folks
We are going make another 06 07 08 FX45 Version for the new FX45 owner
for the pictures Logan send send to me 03-08 FX35 AWD RWD 03-05 FX45 SAME Exhaust and 06 07 08 FX45 has different cats. and also we are try to make a HFC's
Pictures will are coming soon...Thanks Logan help a lot with us.

Hmm...I like the idea of the high flow cats for a bit more performance but I don't know if I want my nismo exhaust any louder then it already is at the moment.

Off topic-but digging through the IS HFC thread now. Invidia tonal sound is great as-is the increased volume would be acceptable. I would be wiling to go with HFC's-Crawford, Berk's or the Invidia units....if they fit:) If the gain is worthwhile and the HFC's marry up well with the Invidia exhaust I'd give them a shot. Did anyone ever do the HFC's? Anyone with a 45?

What's your gut read on HFC's for the 45 Doc? Knowing that the VK appreciates respiration (combined with the fact we'll never see aftermarket headers for our ride) do you think they are worth pursuing?
