What's your guys opinions on the new Camaro?

I'm not a muscle car fan myself and I don't like any of the domestic brands BUT I have to admit the new Camaro has me intrigued.

The Corvette LS3 engine. 430 hp. 6spd. 0-60 = 5s. Low 13's for the quarter. And I love the design. All for only $32K. What do you guys think of it?

I'll pass. I'de rather have someting else as a coupe
all the muscle cars...imo..look better as the classics.

I would do a classic camaro body over the new chassis and engine though :)
 
it's nice, but design wise, I kinda like the Dodge Challenger better

Challenger? Did you see the crappy interior? I'd prefer Camaro over the Challenger and over the Corvette.. It's a very good mix of retro and modern, IMO.
 
I parked beside a new Challenger at the Y the other day, and I am not kidding, it was both longer and wider than my FX! I only beat it size wise in height. It was beautiful, in an orangish color, with chrome rims, and a hemi emblem on the hood. Although I liked it, I was really taken aback by the size of it. The doors are soo long! I can forsee lots of parking lot dings from these cars to those around it.

Yeah it is, it dwarfs the FX!

I like the Challenger also, especially the exterior design. I think they did a good job. But if I got a Challenger it would have to be the SRT8 @ around $42K. The Camaro SS will offer similar performance for $32K. That's a lot of performance for the dollar.
 
i first saw one over the summer for the first time and was just like when did this come out.
 
love that yellow, if I didn't take my wifes opinion into consideration at the time my fx would have been that same pearl yellow :tongue:

that camaro looks bad ass... I'd take it... may be hard to get parts when gm goes under though :rofl:

i was speaking of the challenger in that case. i saw the first one over the summer sitting in the driveway next door to my friend. i took a pic on my phone, not sure where it went.

Agreed. There was an orange one behind me at a red light and I could see a headlight in each of my side mirrors. Yikes!
 
Now all I see are green lights :wink:
