What's your guys opinions on the new Camaro?

found another one for the Camaro. SLP is making 500 of these. 250 auto and 250 manual. the auto will be 550hp and the manual is 575hp. aside from the motor upgrade which comes via a roots type sc, the stance is lowered and an adjustable swing arm is added in. there's a ram air hood on there to feed the engine as well as a rear spoiler, new rims, and fender gills to cool the brakes. 50 states emissions certified and maintains factory warranty.

depending on tests/drivers, this badboy is running 0-60 in ~4.0 seconds and turning the 1/4 out at ~12.0 @ ~118.0mph.

it comes with a pretty hefty price tag and is pretty much just for the collector/enthusiast, but, there are rumors that GM will actually turn this car into a Z28 model and actually sell it themselves.

without further ado, i give you the ZL575 !!!!!!

There were a few of these at the track. They look pretty mean and are fast. I think some were even the V6's, but I know there was a silver SS with slicks that sounded mean.

I think they are both bad ass. Buick needs to pull their head out and make a throwback Grand National before they shrivel up and die.

ooh, just found this thread... What really bugs me about new sports car designs are the enormously tall doors and bumpers. I suppose there are new safety standards for bumper kissing, but overall, sports cars are now too tall and narrow. My 2nd-gen Mazda MX-6 (Rest it's soul) with stock ride height would stare at the new Mustang's bumper! So, if I had a new Camaro, I'd slam it 2" and paint "Camaro" along bottom of doors in black... who am I kidding, I'd rather have a '67-68 SS.
