Bull BAR?
Are you Carmageddon fans or dnt like bulls and cangaroos
I've been a dealer from Romik, Westin, Manik, Smitty, and many others for many years. I can say that the Romik bars and steps are some of the nicest I've ever seen. The quality of the stainless, remember, there are many different grades, and not all stay looking pretty over time. The grade of stainless is one of the main things that adds cost to the bar.
The Romik bar has a lifetime warranty, and has been CRASH TESTED and certified to work with the FX's airbags. Romik worked with Infiniti when they designed this bar. This is important to many, and if there would ever happen to be an issue with the ebay bar, and airbags didn't deploy when they should have, Infiniti is not going to stand behind it with a bar that hasn't been tested. This is just one thing to keep in mind.
What I can say is, the quality of this bar can't be beat, the brackets are tough, it bolts right up, no modidifcations needed, and looks outstanding.

A bar for Infiniti FX35/45 '03-07
I bought this off ebay. I don't think this is the exact same as the Romik:

It is stainless steel, and I put it on the scale: 20 lbs. It doesn't block the Laser for the brake/cruise feature. Installation would have been easier if it wasn't so cold.
Not 100% sure how I feel about this, but I put it on to prevent any more dings to the front of my car (parallel parkers). One person just backed up into my car and cracked my license plate holder, but that was it. There are 4 mounting brackets, I only used two bottom. The top two bolt onto the frame where the radiator is. If that get broken, that's big $$ to fix. It's sturdy enough with the bottom two main brackets and I did a test drive and it's on there good.
It's a tight fit with the plastic undercover. You have to remove it and bolt the brackets on. I did a little plastic trimming on the edges of the cover to make it easier to put on/off.

thats brilliant, i'm gonna call romik and see how much the brackets cost. also i might just call these guys broadfeetdotcom and see if they have any other bracket solution for their product.
keep me posted if you find a good solution for this chedman, thanks.
I wish I could make my first post under better circumstances but I just found this forum. I too was "taken" by the ebay bull bar and tried to return it to broadfeetdotcom STAY AWAY
I'm ordering the romik bar next week

so you ordered from ebay and the bracket wouldn't fit either? did you try to return to suvdressup?
This sucks they want to offer me credit or wait for new brackets. I am so sorry I bought from them.![]()
