Just a dumb question but will the Akebono clear stock 18 inch wheels? Thanks.

I looked fora place to machine/drill the oe's but found nothing really with a brief google, that's a great alternative, borrowed these from there
with that, the only real thing that seperates these from great performance rotors are the weight & not having directional veins internally. real high performance multi piece rotors may never become available for the stock calipers, but that would really make these every bit as good as a 5-6k kit... still a very fair trade off I'd say even with the extra rotor mass...
these brakes get great feedback in the g37, but the fx is probably 500 lb's heavier too... these rotors look pretty decent & the machining will help keep them cooler. maybe joe can sell kits without rotors? maybe he can get these rotors? still might be the issue of them offering for the g37s but not the fx50s... then, who's willing to sacrifice there parking brake?
a quick word of advice to everyone, I'd say don't run out & grab a used set just yet, there are several things you'll need in addition to them & don't be surprised if in the end you don't save anything going used & wind up with more headaches too... trust me, in trying to get this whole kit togeather I've winded up having to take my fx apart & put it back togeather so many times ... think I wore my lugnuts out really.![]()

What kind of lugs are those?
I just went thru all 28 pages of this, I just want to clarify a couple thoughts and make sure I got everything:
1) Nothing needs to be done with the fronts. Direct bolt on. But the rear of the gen1 FX is different, therefore doesn't bolt on.
2) For the rear, we have to change the knuckles and need an adaptor?
3) Drill out the bango bolt only applies to installing the Akebonos? front and rear?
4) Is the knuckle what the caliper bolts onto?
5) Rear rotor bigger also needs to be changed due to e-brake?
6) Does the gen1 FX share the same rear knuckles as any other nissan/infiniti? Maybe the Murano?
7) Now, since the sport/akebono brakes for the G37/370z are the same as the FX50... does that mean FX50 (V8 SUV/Crossover) brakes are the same parts as the V6 sporty cars (g and z)? Odd to me, if I understood that correctly.
Also, oddly, the rear akebono's direct bolt on the g35/350z's. But the fronts need an adapter.
On a side note, other BBKs, for the rear, from the likes of KSport and AP, these are custom fitted to the gen1 FX? Do they use brackets? Or do the calipers bolt right onto the current knuckle?
I think that's all I have for now... thanks, in advanced, for your time.
Hey guys this is probably a dumb question but someone please help understand this better. The infiniti rear bbk is a direct bolt-on if I didnt use the e-brake? So I only need the adapter to hookup the e-brake? I know the sheild has to cut because of the size of the new calipers.
Thanks in advance.
