2003 - 2008 FX Lighting Specs (Bulbs)

You just need the bulbs. But those are for replacing a bulb on an after market HID kit. To replace the normal oem HID bulbs you will need a bulb only set.

Sorry for so many questions. My fx is in pa right now and im in fl so hard to look at the car lol. recommended colors for everything? like which lights already have a amber or red reflector or do the lights need to be amber?

Check out the pictures of members rides if you don't have your FX in front of you. But most of the info you seek can be found in the threads that have been answered before or doing a quick search from the title search bar on top.
 
It's not really been clarified yet but what has everybody put in place of their interior lights? When searching I haven't been able to find an LED 31mm festoon light that emits in 360 degrees. There are plenty that emit in 2 directions or 1 direction but which one works best with our light housings?

I'm about to just go with the normal non-led "super white" ones.

Suggestions?

Anyone here have LED or SMD front turn signals? Im trying to see if the signals will blink super fast due to the lower power consumption of these bulbs before picking up a set. If it does blink fast I might just stick with white xenon bulbs. Thanks for the help!


P.S. This is for the first gen 2006 FX35. Thanks

Yes, the LED turn signals will blink faster, according to other posts in this thread you will have to get a resistor to equal out the resistance.
 
Great, thanks for the advice, I think i will stick with regular xenons for the front turn signals then. Another question is If i decide to get SMD or LED daytime running lights will that have any effect? I doubt it since that bulb is on constantly unlike the turn signals? Thanks for the help again.

I purchased the PIAA 7440 for the Parking Lights - since we are U.S. - I'm guessing is the reason they do not work (Canadian only?).
The stock 7443 bulbs have dual filaments (note the # of metal contacts).

The 7440 that fell out of the holder, and did not fit correctly - and did not work:

For the reverse you need a 921. If you are talking about putting an hid kit into the rear you would have to custom fit one.
