What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

I got my car back from the Bodyshop had the rear corner panel fix due to an accident and had all the plastic pieces color matched to the car
I have been considering painting all the plastic piece to body color also. Can you send pix of FX so I can see how it will look?

Here you go bud - it is really really simple.

FINALLY used it! I bought it from Parsource... Thought it would require a decent amount of elbow grease but almost INSTANTLY took off the yellow haze! I haven't touched my headlights in the 10 years of ownership, so that was pretty impressive! It still has some pitting, so now that I have experience using it, I'll probably do a light wetsand the next time and then buff it out. While I was at Partsource, they had the same bottle as part of a headlight restoration kit. Additional parts to the kit were 2 grades of sandpaper, and another bottle of stuff that's supposed to harden the headlights even more and give cleaner, better lasting protection. I tried to find that bottle sold separately, but it seems like they only sell it in that kit... Also, used 3M Painter's tape to tape off any painted areas around my headlights so I could really go to town on my headlights... The taping took longer than the buffing!

Yeah their really nice i was really surprised about the fit.
I bought them on eBay! I was skeptical at first about the fitment issue but i was really surprised when I received them.

INFINITI FX 35 2003-2008 LEATHER-LIKE CUSTOM FIT SEAT COVER | eBay

That's not bad... I might have to pick up a set of these and see if they can cover up my horrible splitting pleather.

Also, I got some time down in Handy Andy's garage over the weekend to replace the KIDO coilovers with a new set of BC coils. Build quality seems pretty high on the BCs with thicker metal than the Kido, the rear shocks are actually smaller diameter than the KIDO's, but so far so good. Thanks again for making the time Andy!

Cleaned all glass and Rain-X'ed all the outside glass. Upon closer inspection during sunset, I still have a really greasy windshield... :P Will need to do another once over on all my interior glass...
