=ZebraFX= :: 2004 FX35 AWD

Work in Progress!
Wow Zee, those wheels are too nice for winter beating. Winter ride in style. :good:

Nice wheels bro, looks dope

Thanks guys.

yea. i cant see anything out of the back of the fx :(. was wondering where the light spot was on these crees. point to the ground or in the air?

There are spots on the ground, but most output is in the air, since there are kind of directional bulbs.

I was wondering that too.

Zebra one question why did you get rid of the HID backup lights?

The HID's interfered with my aftermarket wireless backup sender unit, so I took them off.

I also installed HID reverse light and it interfere with my after market audio system. It creates a buzzing noise when it first shift into reverse.

Other members here installed them with no issues. My guess that it does interfere with an aftermarket amplifiers only somehow.

Kind of lame given that I am going to end up with the wicked CAS box at some point.

But if it is only in reverse then I can live with it, it does seem weird to me though. I wonder what causes this...

Maybe the HID's draw to much power. It's a loud popping noise, it will be kind of annoying as hell.

nice wheels you still styling for the winter..

Thanks. Got a good deal on these wheels that I couldn't pass...

If your aftermarket amp is getting signal from the OEM speaker wires, it may make the entire system more sensitive to noise? Just a guess. Unrelated, but I just installed a euro foglight switch on my BMW to allow the use of the built in rear fog. It's so nice backing up at night now. Before, if I was in a dark area, the rear view camera wouldn't pick up anything. Now I can actually see. Very helpful since the taillights are tinted and the OEM reverse lights very weak.

And the winter wheels look good. I'm about to downsize from 20"s; tired of rubbing all the time at ride height and don't want to raise the car. Plus I want to get some performance back so lighter wheels can't hurt. Glad to see it looks good, I was worried.

I always forget our 35s were Gold buddies once upon a time. Serious difference, and the blue is gorgeous. Though she was a good looking machine in Gold as well. Amazing work.
